Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) is the gold-standard treatment for Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD). It works by helping you gradually face the thoughts, fears, or situations that trigger your anxiety, while gently resisting the urge to engage in compulsions or rituals. Over time, this reduces the grip OCD has on your life and builds freedom and confidence.

In a typical ERP session, we’ll identify your OCD triggers together and create a hierarchy—a step-by-step plan that starts small and builds gradually. I’ll guide and support you as you practice tolerating uncertainty and discomfort in a safe, controlled way, always at a pace that feels manageable for you.

Whether ERP is right for you depends on your unique goals, your readiness, and your comfort level. During our early sessions, we’ll talk through your OCD experiences, what you’re hoping to change, and whether ERP feels like the right fit. If it does, we’ll move forward together, step by step.
