Madison Gentry, LCSW
Therapist and Practice Owner
Hi, I’m Madison Gentry, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I grew up in Fort Wayne, IN and earned my Master’s degree in Social Work from Indiana University in Indianapolis. My experience in mental health spans across 8+ years of practice in multiple different settings. I have been working in private practice therapy for 4 years, and have been trained in EMDR for almost 3 years.
I am naturally extroverted and approachable, which helps me create a space where clients feel safe, understood, and encouraged to grow. I bring warmth, empathy, and genuine care into every session, which makes me feel grateful every day that I get to do work I truly love.
As the youngest of six children, I learned early on the value of connection, support, and family, and those lessons carry into the way I show up as a therapist today. My own journey has shaped the heart I bring into therapy. I have personally navigated the untimely loss of two of my brothers during childhood and early adulthood. Through those experiences, I’ve come to understand the deep weight of grief and how healing is never linear, but it continues to unfold in its own time, often revealing strength you didn’t know you had.
Outside of my work, I recently moved to Ohio with my wonderful partner. I love spending time with my family and friends, traveling, trying new foods, laughing often, and finding joy in the small things. These parts of my life keep me grounded and remind me daily that it is an honor to witness people’s journeys and to hold space for both their pain and their possibilities.
